Onbording in Elibrium is an important verification process that helps confirm the legitimacy of a business and the identity of its owners. It is required for compliance with regulatory standards, anti-money laundering (AML) laws and protection of all parties involved in financial transactions. Completing onbording process ensures that your company is a trustworthy partner and that its operations are transparent and compliant.
At Elibrium, we understand that businesses value time, so we've made the onboarding process as simple and fast as possible. On average, the verification process takes no more than 24 hours (from the moment you registered on the platform). Below, we've outlined the steps you need to follow and the documents required. By following this guide, you can complete the process in just one day and start using our service immediately.
Step-by-Step Onboarding Process
1. Register on the platform. Create an account on the Elibrium website and provide basic company details. During registration, you will be asked to enter company information, including registration details, and identification numbers such as SSN and EIN. After you submit the registration form, your personal manager will contact you to address any questions that may appear during the onboarding process.
2. Receive document request. At this stage our system will automatically process the data you’ve sent on the previous step, and you may receive an email with the list of required documents (not necessarily, but the bank’s compliance department may request them). The email will specify which documents are needed to verify your company and its beneficial owners.
3. Upload required documents. Follow the link in the email or use your personal account to upload the documents. To complete the process, some or all of the following documents may be required:
Certificate of Incorporation – official proof of the company's legal registration.
Articles of Incorporation – the founding document of the company.
Identity documents of owners holding more than 25% of shares – such as a passport or driver’s license of each owner.
Additional documents (if necessary): upon request, our compliance team may ask for a recent extract from the company register (not older than 3 months), the company's tax identification number, other constituent documents, proof of beneficial ownership, the company director’s identification, or proof of address (e.g., utility bill). These documents are only requested in some cases for additional verification and to ensure full compliance.
4. Application review. After uploading all necessary files, the compliance department will begin reviewing the provided information. This process typically takes 1 business day We will carefully verify the documents to ensure their authenticity and compliance. No action is required from you during this period – once the review is completed, we will notify you of the outcome.
5. Approval and access to the service. If your application is approved, you will receive a confirmation email. After this, your account will be fully activated, and you can log into your personal account on the platform. All Elibrium service features will be available to you, and you can start using them right away - including depositing via Wire or ACH. Congratulations, your onboarding process is complete!
